Our Origins
The Omi Merchants’ “Sanpoyoshi”

Our company has adopted the management philosophy of the Omi merchants’ “Sanpoyoshi ≒ triple benefit.”
Omi merchants are a collective term for merchants who had their main family in Omi Province (now: Shiga Prefecture) and traveled to other countries to sell their goods.
“Urite-yoshi ≒ Good for the seller,” “Kaite -yoshi ≒ Good for the buyer,” and “Seken-yoshi ≒ Good for society.”
The idea that a good business is one that satisfies both the seller and the buyer and also contributes to society is the foundation of business, and is used as the management philosophy of many companies.
TRIWIN logo background

Our company logo is made up of three Reuleaux triangles.
A Reuleaux triangle is a strange shape that looks like an equilateral triangle with each side softly bulging out, and is the same shape used in rotary engines in automobiles and robot vacuum cleaners.
The “TRI” in TRIWIN is a combination of the Greek word for the number three, the number three in our management philosophy of “sanpo-yoshi,” and the word “good” (win).
We also wanted to express the idea of ”good for others, good for yourself, good for society,” so we used this shape because when you draw an image of three overlapping circles, the center part looks like a Reuleaux triangle.
We wanted to embody the image of what we do spreading and connecting from the inside out to others, and then to the world around us.
